Dresser Wayne Global Star V Fuel Dispenser Introduces Next Generation Technology
June 18, 2009: Dresser Wayne (www.DresserWayne.com) has launched the next generation of its Global Star® fuel dispenser in Europe. The Global Star V dispenser features an enhanced user interface, new durability and serviceability features, and the alternative fuel compatibility and form factor of the previous generation. Modular features include the highly accurate Xflo™ fuel meter, PCI secure payment and automatic temperature compensation.
The Global Star V dispenser helps retailers increase customer satisfaction through enhanced design, including ergonomically positioned nozzles. Elevated payment and fuel selection electronics offer convenient eye-level interactivity. The LED display combines volume and price information in one easy-to-view screen. The display is backlit for dependable visibility, particularly in harsh lighting conditions and when the pump is not in use the lighting is automatically turned down by 50% resulting in reduced power usage.
"The new Global Star V dispenser builds on the most popular features of the previous generation to give motorists a superior fueling experience and gives European fuel retailers even more revenue-enhancing capabilities," says Annika Birkler, Product Manager Dresser Wayne.
The dispenser is engineered for increased stability and durability. Low connection points for hose couplings make the hose easier for motorists to pull into position, as well as easier to service. Removable side panels and well-spaced internal components offer quick, yet secure, maintenance access.
The Global Star V dispenser can be configured with a multitude of options, including an improved hose retraction system and multiple fuel grade selection hoses and buttons. The dispenser is highly customizable, while the dispenser frame's appearance remains consistent. The result is an attractive, uniform forecourt for streamlined operations and branding. It is also compatible with Dresser Wayne's newly introduced forecourt controller, the Fusion™ forecourt system.
