Dresser Wayne draws upon its extensive history in secure outdoor payment terminals to deliver the fully-compliant iX Pay secure payment solution.
• Certified to the most stringent level of PCI (Payment Card Industry) payment security standards, Version 2.0. It was the first solution certified for deployment beyond the year 2014; competitive solutions are currently certified to outdated versions of PCI regulations
• Exceeds minimum PCI EPP (Encrypted PIN Pad) requirements providing a foundation for future PCI UPT (Unattended Payment Terminal) compliance
• Available as an option for new Ovation, Ovation iX, 4/Vista, HS4/Vista, Global Ovation, Global Star, and Global Vista fuel dispensers or as an upgrade kit for legacy Dresser Wayne and selected third party dispensers
• Leverages the award-winning iX Technology Platform for expanded capabilities
PCI EPP standards require that fuel dispenser payment devices use the Triple Data Encryption Standard (TDES) algorithm to encrypt PIN data within the keypad. Devices must also include tamper-responsive security components and data skimming resistance.
